    Description

FLEMISH DOUBLE MANUAL HARPSICHORD AFTER COLMAR RUCKERS
    CARL MILLER, CROFTON, MARYLAND, 1980
Flemish Double Manual Harpsichord, professionally made by Carl Miller of Crofton, Maryland, in 1980. A copy of the "Colmar" Ruckers, this instrument has 2x8 foot choirs and 1 4 foot choir, 3 ranks of Zuckermann I Beam jacks, a buff stop to the back 8 foot, and a 56 note GG-d''' compass. Shove coupler on the keyboard of Ebony and Bone, non-transposing. The harpsichord is made of Poplar, with a Sitka Spruce Soundboard. The case is painted with Grey and White milk paint, with 23 karat gold bandings on the exterior of the case. New Flemish papers made by Dr. Grant O'brien were applied by the present owner in the Keywell and Soundwell in 2021. The harpsichord lifts off of the collapsible
trestle stand, and includes a heavy padded carrying case. The harpsichord is currently undergoing restoration in the owner's shop, and is available as-is with new wire for ,500. At the request of the buyer the following upgrades can be made to the instrument for an additional fee before the harpsichord is delivered:
Upgrading to new wooden jacks with birdquill plectra made by Jake Kaeser for an additional ,500.
Adding a Flemish style soundboard painting for an additional ,500.
The last photo in the description is of a soundboard painting which I executed on another Flemish harpsichord. Please message me if you require any additional information or have any questions. Thank you! :)
